Ron Moore founded The Moore Gallery 1977. It was
located for 19 years in Hamilton. He has worked closely with
public galleries and museums, consultants, corporations, and
private collectors in assisting and advising on the acquisition of
works by major Canadian artists. In 1997 Moore Gallery relocated
to the 4th floor at 80 Spadina Avenue, situated in the heart of
downtown Toronto and the lively Queen West strip. The gallery's
mandate is to encourage the promotion and distribution of master
works - paintings, works on paper and sculpture - by contemporary
Canadian artists. This mandate has been successfully met for over
20 years. The Moore Gallery's art
selection is recognized as one of the finest in Canada. It has
focused on Canadian Art History, specializing in the art created
from the Les Automatistes of Quebec to the Painters Eleven of
Ontario. In addition, the gallery carries an array of works by the
Regina Five, the Isaacs Gang and the Klonaridis Group of artists.
