Paul Duval is widely recognized as Canada's
foremost art expert and critic. He served for many years as art
editor for Saturday Night and the Toronto Telegram. He is a
regular contributor to art journals, the author of the Painting
section of the Encyclopedia Canadiana, a great many exhibition
catalogues, and over six books. He has also written and produced
radio, film and television programmes relating to art, and acts as
consultant to many major international collectors and
institutions. He was co-founder of the Canadian Section of the
International Association of Art Critics in 1957. |
